Palm Court has the Vow factor

The 10th annual Scottish Vows Awards took place this month with the much-lauded Palm Court Hotel
in Aberdeen voted “Best Wedding Venue In Scotland” – astonishingly, for the second time in three years.

The glittering event, which was attended by almost 700 of the most successful and well-known suppliers in Scotland, was held at The Hilton in Glasgow, and competition was fierce.

Among those vying for “Best Venue” were the multi-award winning House For An Art Lover, Orocco Pier and Broxmouth Park, but there could only be one winner on the night. The team at The Palm Court, however, should be slightly more accustomed to this by now – just a few years ago in 2011, they took home the very same award, and credited their fantastic customer feedback and support for their success.

Graham Urquhart, The Palm Court Hotel director, said of the win: “It really is such an honour to win in the category, it is perhaps the most competitive of the awards, and with the competition being of such a high quality, we were hopeful, but not expectant. We would of course like to say a massive heartfelt thanks to all of our couples, whose kind words and great feedback have helped us come out on top.”

The team at the hotel have almost no time to sit back and celebrate – their 2015 calendar is looking packed already, and 2016 doesn’t seem like it will be any less hectic – although according to Graham, that is exactly how they like it.
