Talk of the Town is Society’s round-up of some of the best north-east food and drink deals, specials and hotspots on offer every week.

If you fancy trying out a new spot for your morning coffee this week, we have just the place…

Mount

Aberdeen’s latest addition to its coffee shop scene comes in the form of Mount. However, this is a coffee shop a twist.

Its owners are avid Munro baggers and aim to bring an outdoor experience inside.

The venue opened on Upperkirkgate just last week. Expect quality artisan coffee here, as well as bakes and cakes from local bakers plus extras like sustainable greetings cards.

Lunches come served in style here with sandwiches, poke bowls, local pies and much more showcasing a diverse array of dishes.

Breakfasts and luscious cakes also come with plenty of gluten-free options to choose from.
