Home that’s worth a look

Home that’s worth a look

The festive season can be for many a particularly stressful couple of weeks.

And now it has been and gone, you probably don’t want any more stress in your life.

So if a move is on the cards this month, finding a home that is ready to move into can make your re-location that much easier.

Number 27, Castle Crescent, Aboyne, is that kind of home. Just have a look at the schedule and you’ll be smiling before you know it.

The five-bedroom detached home with integral single garage forms part of the Bancon Homes Kemsley Green development.

The lounge is definitely one of my favourite rooms in the house – mostly because of the partially glazed doors that give you great views of the surrounding area.

A large bay window also allows for an abundance of natural light and provides views of the front garden and communal green area.

The dining room is another tastefully decorated room and the current owners have recently installed partially glazed doors in the same style as the lounge. The perfect location for formal dining and entertainment, the dining room could also easily be utilised as a family or playroom depending upon your requirements.

A room the new owners are sure to spend a lot of time in is the dining kitchen, truly the “hub” of the household.

A great size, this light and airy room has plenty of space for a dining table and chairs, with part of the kitchen currently used as a family seating area.

Upstairs you will find the master bedroom, which has his and hers deep built-in wardrobes and an immaculate en suite shower room and four further double bedrooms, all great sizes and feature built-in wardrobes.

Outside, the house, on the market for offers over £350,000, sits in neat and well maintained grounds.

A loc-bloc driveway provides parking for two cars and access to the single garage, while the front garden is mostly in grass.

The fully enclosed rear garden is mostly laid to lawn with a barked play area and a small selection of climbing plants and an apple tree.

French doors from the dining kitchen lead out to the patio, which is the ideal location for al fresco dining and barbecues during warmer weather.

Aboyne is an attractive village situated approximately 30 miles from Aberdeen. It is well served by many amenities which include primary and secondary schooling, a community/sports centre with swimming pool and theatre, an excellent 18-hole golf course, a wide selection of shops and several hotels and restaurants.
