One of Scotland’s leading business development organisations, Elevator, has teamed up with technology provider Dynamic Edge to boost support for growing companies.

Dynamic Edge will provide a wide range of managed IT services to staff and entrepreneurs visiting Elevator business centres across the north-east and Tayside.

Elevator, formerly Enterprise North East Trust, recently opened a £1million state-of-the-art hub in the city’s Energy Park at the Bridge of Don. The new centre offers what is believed to be the fastest broadband facilities in the region, as well as video conferencing and whiteboard technology.

Aberdeen-based company Dynamic Edge will provide a fully-managed service, covering all aspects of IT, at the organisation’s headquarters and all 18 business centres across Scotland. In addition, Elevator has 75 members of staff who require instant access to all IT services, wherever they are working from.

Stuart Winterburn, managing director of Dynamic Edge, said: “We’re delighted to be working with a prestigious organisation such as Elevator. This partnership is terrific recognition of the technical knowledge and expertise possessed by our team at Dynamic Edge, as well as our reputation for providing an excellent level of customer service. Our innovative IT solutions are geared towards enhancing ease of use for staff and visitors to the new centre, as well as managing remote connections for employees working in the community, increasing uptime and providing proactive support and monitoring to resolve any potential issues.

“The new hub is a wonderful example of the business community coming together to realise its potential. We look forward to further developing our relationship with Elevator.”

Gary McEwan, chief executive of Elevator, said: “We are delighted to have reached this agreement with Dynamic Edge. We have been thoroughly impressed by their responsiveness to our needs and ability to find solutions for complex communications challenges. We are passionate about supporting and developing the region’s entrepreneurs and employees as well as creating opportunities for the next generation of talent. We see our partnership with Dynamic Edge as vital to enabling businesses to fulfil their potential.”
