A man has been taken to hospital following a crash between a motorbike and car in Aberdeen city centre.
The accident – involving a blue, Vauxhall Astra and a black, Triumph Daytona – took place at around 2.25pm at the junction of Crown Street and Springbank Street.
The driver of the motorbike has now been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with chest injuries.
It is unclear how serious his injuries are, although it is understood they are not life-threatening.
Meanwhile, Great Southern Road was closed city-bound after a car crashed into a lamppost.
The incident happened at around 3.45pm and it is understood no-one was injured as a result of the accident.
