Andrew Robertson, appeared at the High Court in Aberdeen earlier today where a verdict of not proven was returned. He had been accused of raping a woman after she ‘refused to join him in a threesome’. The 49-year-old from Aboyne had been suspended from the police force pending the outcome of the case. A jury took just 45 minutes to return the verdict.
