A lifeboat crew were sent out to find the missing children.
Two children have been found safe and sound after going missing from Aberdeen Beach this evening.
Alarms were raised at around 6.35pm after two children, a boy and a girl aged 10 and 12 respectively, disappeared from the Footdee area of Aberdeen, close to the harbour.
Police, coastguard and lifeboat services were sent out to find the two youngsters, and they were found just under two hours later at 8.20pm on Wellington Road.
It is understood that the pair were walking home.
The two children were both found unharmed.
