A Toyota pick up truck spun off the A947 between Newmachar to Whiterashes. A Land Rover lost control on the A980 near Banchory’s Raemoir House Hotel just before 6am. There were no injuries at either incident. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Road users should be aware of icy conditions and drive carefully.” The A93 and A947 are both extremely icy this morning and a warning has been issued to motorists to use extra caution on these roads.
