Residents of a street in Aberdeen watched on in shock this afternoon as a car went up in flames.
Emergency services were called to the Queen’s Den at around 12.40pm, with a fire engine sent from North Anderson Drive.
Crew used breathrail apparatus and a hosereel jet to extinguish the blaze which was described as being “well alight.”
One resident who watched on, Alan Berry, said: “I noticed the fire at around 12.30pm today, the whole car was on fire.
“It was close to the wooden fence so it’s lucky nothing else caught fire.”
