The former manager of a Moray golf club has appeared in court accused of embezzling more than £142,000.
Barbara-Anne Rumbles, 48, worked as an administrative assistant and then general manager at Elgin Golf Club.
She is alleged to have swindled the £142,209.02 between November 23 2016 and October 29 2019.
It is also alleged that she failed to appear at an earlier hearing of the case without reasonable excuse.
Rumbles, who is also known as Bartlett according to court papers, stood silent in the dock at Inverness Sheriff Court as her solicitor Neil Wilson and procurator fiscal Robert Weir joined in a motion to continue the hearing to a later date.
No plea was entered and the case will call again next month.
Sheriff Sara Matheson confirmed that Rumbles, of Balfron Drive, Coatbridge, will remain on bail in the meantime.
