A stretch of the north’s busiest road has been blocked this morning after a crash.
The incident happened on the A9 at Balir Atholl shortly after 7am.
Police are currently attending the scene and say the route could be blocked in both directions for more than an hour.
The road is popular for those travelling in areas between Perth and Inverness but the force has advised motorists to use other routes where available until the obstruction has been cleared.
