Love lorn Scots will have a chance to meet their perfect match after Channel 4 show First Dates announced they are looking for new singletons.

The popular dating show is on the hunt for fresh faces and unlucky-in-love Scots have been urged to sign up.

The Channel 4 show, known for matchmaking couples in TV’s most famous restaurant, has seen a proposal and a pregnancy over the last 12 months.

Scots hoping to head to the First Dates restaurant will be asked to share their body type, occupation and other personal details, such as whether they drink or smoke.
