The Sun are reporting that police raided the player’s £1.85million mansion this morning at 9.15am. According to the Sun the player plays for an English Premier League club and has played for the England international team. The report also suggests that police discovered a loaded gun at the property, however it is believed the firearm was legally owned by the player. The player involved has now been named as Sunderland winger Adam Johnson.
