WATCH: Pilot battles gale force wind showing top skill landing plane sideways

Gale-force winds proved too strong for some planes during the weekend at Birmingham Airport.

It seems airliners were seen struggling to land through difficult winds as the winter weather took hold.

In this video taken at the airport, one plane can be seen wavering in the wind before making an angled approach towards the runway, while another plane can be seen wobbling during take-off.

Blustery conditions made flying difficult for pilots, but thankfully they managed to keep their planes under control.
