Veteran defenders Martin MacDonald and Sean Webb are among four players to be released by Clachnacuddin following the end of the Highland League campaign.

John MacAskill’s departure has also been confirmed by Clach, with the midfielder playing his final game for the Lilywhites in a defeat to Formartine United in March.

Former Forres Mechanics defender Paul Smith has also left, and has since joined junior side Nairn St Ninian.
MacDonald and Webb had previously been team-mates at Nairn County and Huntly before joining the Lilywhites in 2017, with MacDonald having spent a brief spell at Rothes in between.

Former Ross County and St Johnstone defender Webb had briefly stepped in as caretaker manager following Brian MacLeod’s departure last year, with the 37-year-old Northern Irishman resuming his playing duties following the appointment of Sandy McLeod.

Clach have retained four players on new deals however, with Eachainn Miller, Alan Kerr, Ronan McBride and Thomas McInnes having extended their stays at Grant Street Park.

The Inverness outfit have also confirmed they are looking to add to the management team, in order to provide support for boss McLeod, with discussions with existing and potential new players continuing.
