Harry Mackenzie - who first used Clan's services when his wife Jackie was diagnosed with cancer and was chosen to launch the Light The North project with his family back in 2019 - has praised the charity's empathy and care.
Locals will have one final chance to see all lighthouse sculptures at Clan’s Light The North Farewell Weekend before 58 lighthouses are auctioned on Monday November 1.
More than 5,000 people have downloaded the Light The North app and "collected" a whopping 114,555 lighthouse sculptures, said delighted bosses at cancer charity Clan.
Creative and life partners Kate Tweddle and Elaine Maher have worked together to show lighthouses can transform dark into light - both literally and metaphorically.
