A stretch of the A90 will close this morning as road workers repair a major pothole.
Reports of at least five punctures caused by the hole surfaced this morning as transport bosses warned of tailbacks in the area.
The pothole, located just after the B979 Netherley turnoff to Stonehaven travelling northbound, is understood to be filled with water and difficult for motorists to see.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed that they were made aware of the issue at approximately 7:40am, and will assist in closing part of the road while it is repaired.
