An air ambulance has been called to take a motorcyclist to hospital following a crash on a rural Aberdeenshire road this afternoon.
The motorcyclist crashed his vehicle on the A93 at Glenshee, south of Braemar, at about 1.45pm.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that the emergency services, including an ambulance, have been called to the scene.
She added that a helicopter had been requested to take the casualty to hospital but said that no information on his condition was known.
