Police anxious to trace missing Aberdeen woman

Police Scotland is anxious to trace an elderly woman who is missing from her home in Aberdeen.

Mary Ryan, 78, was last seen at the Bus Station at Guild Street, Aberdeen, around 12.30pm on Monday.

The mother-of-four is believed to have then boarded a bus to Aberdeenshire, Moray or Elgin.

A police spokesperson said: “She is described as being 5ft 4ins tall and has long white hair which is usually tied back.

“When last seen Mary was wearing a floral dress, blue-green cardigan and furry boots.

“She was carrying a message bag and may have been using a walking stick as an aid.”

Anyone with any information which may assist in tracing Mary is asked to contact Police on 101.
