Two sex attacks took place in the gardens within weeks of each other.
Police have sealed off Union Terrace Gardens as the investigate an incident in Aberdeen city centre.
One of the arches in the park has been taped off and police are restricting all access the gardens.
Officers were unable to give The Press and Journal any more information about the nature of the incident.
Just two months ago officers closed down the whole of Union Terrace Gardens after a woman was raped in the area and teams could be seen scouring the park for days looking for clues.
