[[success]] Email address Sign up Emergency crews were working at the scene of a two-vehicle collision on the A9 at Tain. The incident involving a Citroen C4 and a Ford Mondeo occurred at the junction with the B9174 on the northbound carriageway shortly after 1pm today. No-one is understood to have sustained serious injuries in the collision. Police received initial reports of the collision at 1.25pm dispatching multiple officers to the scene. Four fire crews from Tain, Dornoch, Golspie and Balintore were also conveyed to assist at the scene following a distress call at 1.40pm. Crews worked to make both vehicles safe before departing the scene around 2pm. Officers remained in attendance for some time prior to the recovery of the vehicles. Already a subscriber?
