A popular north-east actor is set to put on a saucy show of supercalifragilistic proportions for an Aberdeen audience, and tickets are selling out fast.
Diamonte Productions is putting on a cheeky adult adaptation of legendary musical Mary Poppins, starring and written by Brian Elrick alongside talented local performers.
The show runs at Cheerz Nightclub in Market Street from July 12 to 16. Shows start at 7pm each evening, and there is also a Saturday matinee at 2pm.
Mr Elrick, who plays the children’s mother in the production, has said rehearsals are going well and has urged punters to snap up tickets while they’re still available.
The Aberdeen-raised performer who is based in London and is currently lead vocalist in the UK tour of One Night of Rock, said of the adult musical: “Not only is our story funny, naughty and cheeky, it’s also a heart-warming tale that showcases some great characters, beautiful singing and slick choreography.”
