Emergency services called to Newmachar following car collision

Emergency services were in attendance to Newmachar this evening after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

The call was made shortly after 6pm following the collision just outside the town’s Co-operative store on Station Road.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that the injuries were not serious and no roads were closed.

Emergency services have now left the scene.
