Firefighters were called to two major wildfires on the Isle of Lewis earlier tonight.
Crews were alerted to the first blaze, affecting 20 acres of moorland at Keose, shortly before 4pm.
Three fire crews – two from Stornoway and one from Tarbert – used beaters and water containers to extinguish the blaze, with crews away from the scene around 8pm.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it was also called to a wildfire on Lewis at around 6.15pm.
One crew from Shawbost used beaters to help tackle the fire, at Ranish, and they are now away from the scene.
No details of the size of the blaze have been given.
