Oban Lifeboat was called out in the early hours of Tuesday morning to evacuate a woman from a yacht at Oban Marina.
Stornoway Coastguard said the woman was suffering from a non serious medical condition that required hospital treatment.
The lifeboat was called out at 00.40am. It collected the casualty, who was aboard a yacht moored in Oban Bay, and took her to the lifeboat slip, where an ambulance was waiting to take her to Oban’s Lorn and the Isles Hospital.
Her condition is not known, but was understood not to be serious.
