Police are anxious to trace a man who failed to return to a psychiatric hospital in Inverness.
John Guest, 61, was given time off from New Craigs Hospital yesterday.
Inverness police said they believe that Mr Guest may be in the city centre.
A force spokesman said there is concern for his welfare because he has mental health problems and is vulnerable to self-neglect.
Mr Guest is described as 6ft 1in, heavy build with a ruddy complexion. He has white hair and beard, which is unkempt. He was last seen wearing a black and white camouflage jacket.
Anyone with information should contact officers on 101.
