The first acts and location of this year’s BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend have been revealed.
DJ Greg James announced on his morning show today the major event will be returning to Dundee.
It takes place from May 22-24.

The first six acts for the event have also been revealed. They are:
- Harry Styles
- Biffy Clyro
- Calvin Harris
- AJ Tracey
- Camila Cabello
- Dua Lipa
Earlier this month the Courier revealed the popular music event was on the verge of a triumphant return to Dundee.
Fourteen years after the festival last took place in the City of Discovery, our sister paper revealed Camperdown Park has again been chosen as a venue for the three-day event.
