A number of roads have been closed as the snow hits the north east this evening.
Traffic is moving slowly across Aberdeen as snow continues to fall in certain areas, meanwhile, police have been forced to close the following roads.
Corgarff/Tomintoul
The A939 is closed in its entirety from Tomintoul to A93 at Ballater due to drifting snow
Braemar/Spittal of Glenshee
Following heavy snowfall, police have closed the A93 between Braemar and the Tayside boundary.
Ballater
The road from Crathie – Gairnshiel is closed. The junction between the A93 and the A939 has been closed due to drifting snow
Peterhead
Police have closed the road at the junction of Charlotte Street and Uphill Lane, while Errol Street remains closed following yesterday’s fish factory fire.
The junction between St Peter Street and York Street also remains closed following the fire.
However, the road at the junction of Kirk Street and South Road, however, it has now been re-opened.
