The heart of the Granite City has been transformed by 11 new masterpieces created on walls and spaces as part of Nuart Aberdeen 2022.

From huge murals to small works you could almost walk past without noticing, they all have one thing in common – they are stunning pieces of art.

From the blink and you’ll miss it “welcome” mat created by Pejac on Union Street to th massive mural of  a girl in a kilt writing lines on the side of Union Plaza by Slim Safont, they are unique, showing world-class street artists at the top of their game.

Artists from across the UK and Europe have been hard at work

For the past 10 days, the 11 artists from across Europe and the UK have been hard at work, getting their creations ready for the Nuart street art festival weekend, which has created a buzz in the city centre, with activities and walking tours.

Here, we have gathered together images of the new works for you to enjoy.

These pictures and videos are, however, only a taste of the real thing.

To truly appreciate Nuart – both these new works and the existing ones that have brought life and colour to the city centre – you should get out and see them up close.
