What: Kilt-imanjaro charity dinner.
Where: The New Drumossie Hotel, Inverness.
Who: Around 250 people attended the event.
Why: The dinner was organised by Graeme Anderson, Donald Maclennan and Brian Innes who are raising money for various charities by holding a number of events throughout the year, culminating in climbing Kilimanjaro in October – in their kilts.
The evening raised a fantastic £20,000 for The Archie Foundation, Poppy Scotland and The Highland Hospice.
Guests were greeted by a piper and a red carpet before enjoying a three-course meal, raffle, auction and silent auction. MC for the evening was Bill Macalister and music came from Stevie Rebel “Rebel without applause” and Karla Bernardi.
