Emergency services were called to Deeside this morning after a car careered from the road and ploughed into a tree.
The crash took place at 6.49am near Torphins, at the junction leading to Findrack Estate on the A980 Banchory to Alford road.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “One vehicle left the carriageway and impacted a tree.
“The driver was not trapped though, and suffered only minor injuries.
“Fire crews were called out as a precaution.”
Police have advised motorists to take care on slippery roads following wintry weather over the past few days.
