Motorists have been warned not to drive in Aberdeen unless absolutely necessary after several crashes throughout the day.
The Met Office has put out a Yellow ice warning from this evening to 11am tomorrow, and after a number of collisions, the force has issued a warning.
A statement said: “Police Scotland would like to advise drivers that due to adverse weather conditions the roads in and around Aberdeen are treacherous and have resulted in multiple road traffic collisions throughout the day.
“Drivers are advised to avoid driving unless absolutely necessary. “
