Police have located a reindeer that was reported missing from a Banff football club.
Further to an earlier appeal, police have confirmed that the missing reindeer decoration from Deveronvale’s Princess Royal Park has been found.
‘Rudolph’ is displayed at the rear of the spectator stand annually, however was taken sometime between New Year’s Eve and Thursday last week.

The 3ft reindeer is now on its way back to the owner and will be safely stored away until December.
It was found earlier this afternoon near to the Banff Bridge.
Investigating Officer PC Beattie said: “We are grateful to members of the public who phoned us in relation to the reindeer and thanks to them it was found within a couple of hours of our original appeal.
“Enquiries into the theft remain ongoing and anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting reference 1588 of 3 January.”
