A man has died following a house fire in Rosehearty.
Emergency crews were called to Summers Road in the village around 8.44am this morning after reports of a blaze.
Firefighters tackled the flames in the property but a male casualty was found within the building. He later died at the scene.
A spokesman for the service said: “We were alerted at 8.44am to reports of a fire within a house near Fraserburgh.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances to Summers Road, Rosehearty where crews worked to extinguish the flames.”
