Police are investigating after a car mounted a pavement in Aberdeen and ploughed into a grit bin.
Officers are at Garthdee Road, where the Volkswagen Polo appears to have been left abandoned.
The car churned up yards of grass and left a trail of destruction in its path, careering through a dog waste bin and tearing it from the pole which it was attached to.
The Volkswagen has been left with its bumper hanging off.
A police spokeswoman said: “We are at the scene of a collision on Garthdee Road, which involved one car.”
