Two men have been arrested following an attempted robbery at a post office in Aberdeen.
Police were called to Sclattie Park Post Office in the Bucksburn area of city at 12.55pm today where an attempted robbery took place.

Detective Inspector Stewart Drummond said: “Our inquiries are at a very early stage, however I would like to make an immediate appeal to anyone who was in the area of the post office and surrounding area to call us if they saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, or if they saw anyone running away from the post office.
“A female has sustained a minor injury as a result of this incident and at this stage we don’t believing anything has been stolen”.
