A new sponsorship deal has been announced for a popular Aberdeenshire event.
The Johnshaven Fish Festival is an annual celebration held in the harbour area of the village during the first two weeks of August.
This year’s Fish Festival will be held on Saturday August 3.
Angus Motor Group, Mackie Motors is one of the main corporate sponsors for the event and the company’s latest vehicles will be on show along with their newest car, MG.
Kevin Cameron, sales manager at MG Brechin said: “The Johnshaven Fish Festival is a great occasion for bringing the community together.
“We are proud sponsors this year and hope this year’s event will be another big success raising a fantastic sum for the local community.”
Alongside the customary array of stalls, crafts, and local fare, the Fish Festival offers a day out for people of all ages.
Eileen Michael, event manager of the festival said: “I would like to thank Mackie Motors for its generous support of our event.
“The event is always a lively day of celebration including live music held on two outside stages and featuring sounds from Scotland’s best.
“Year on year, our audience and legacy has grown.
“Since its small beginnings, it has become a part of the local tourist calendar and a vital contributor to the village economy.”
