Police in Caithness are appealing to the public for information after a shop in Wick was broken into early yesterday morning.
Officers attended Malcolms Newsagents in the Kinnaird Street area of the Wick yesterday as enquiries got underway.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “The incident was reported at approximately 3am.
“Entry was forced to the shop and a quantity of alcohol stolen.
“Anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour around the area or has any further information is asked to call police in Wick or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
