A woman died after falling nearly 500ft from a Glencoe mountain range.
The climber was walking on the Aonach Eagach ridge – infamous as the narrowest on the British mainland – on Saturday afternoon.
The woman, who is her 60s, was alone when the accident happened just after 1.30pm on Saturday afternoon.
She is believed to have fallen around 490ft onto the north side of the hill.
Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team and RAF helicopter Rescue 177 were involved in recovering the woman who was pronounced dead at Fort William Medical Practice.
