A lifeboat was launched in the early hours of this morning to help tow a fishing vessel back to a north-east harbour.
A coastguard spokesman said they received the call at around 2am this morning.
He added: “Fraserburgh Lifeboat are currently towing a vehicle back to the harbour.
“The fishing vessel lost power about 35 miles east of Peterhead.
“All crew and people aboard the vessel are safe and well.”
