Traffic was brought to a crawl on a countryside road yesterday following a collision involving two cars and a van.
The crash took place on the A947 between Turriff and Fyvie at about 6pm.
A van belonging to Seivwright Brothers contractors had to be towed away after suffering extensive damage to its front.
The rear driver’s side of a Ford Ghia was badly bashed, while a red Mini also ended up with a crumpled bumper,
The southbound lane of the Aberdeenshire route was blocked for more than an hour afterwards.
A police spokesman last night confirmed that nobody involved had been injured.
