The family of William and Karen Flett who were found dead in their Aberdeen home on Wednesday night have said they are “devastated” by their loss.
Emergency services were called to their house in Cornhill Terrace, Aberdeen, at around 10.30pm.
A major police investigation has been launched and officers treating their deaths as unexplained while inquiries continue.
Today the couple’s family released a statement through the police.
It reads: “We are completely devastated by our loss and as a family we will help each other through this extremely difficult time.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to thank those who have passed on their wishes and offered their support.
“We would ask that we are left in private to come to terms with what has happened.”
