Emergency rescue teams have called to the aid of a stranded sailing crew off the coast of Aberdeen.
The alarm was raised with the Coastguard at around 2.30pm.
Crew lost engine power and steering on the vessel around 22 miles off the north-east coast.
A Coastguard spokeswoman said: “The Aberdeen RNLI lifeboat is on scene and will tow the vessel back to the harbour.
“Communications are quite difficult so there is not a lot of information.”
No one has been hurt.
