The A96 has reopened after a lorry overturned and its driver was taken to hospital early this morning.
The road was closed for more than six hours following the incident, that happened near Blackburn around 5.45am.
The male driver was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance crews.

It is unknown if he has sustained any serious injuries.
A diversion via Newmachar was put in place with the road closed from Aberdeen Airport Roundabout to the Blackburn roundabout.
