Stargazers in Aberdeen could get a shock tonight as the International Space Station will twice be visible in the skies over the north-east.
The first sighting is expected just after 9.30pm when it is expected to appear for around four minutes.
The second appearance is expected to be around less than a minute long at 11.07pm.
Although the clouds above the city are expected to thicken the skies should be reasonably clear – making the Torry battery a prime place for viewing.
Anyone who misses out will get another chance tomorrow as the station is expected to make an appearance at 8.38pm and 10.14pm.
