An image has emerged of the moment an aircraft crashed into a north-east field after being forced to attempt an emergency landing.
Emergency services were called to the scene outside Alford, between Tough and Muir of Fowlis at around 8.25pm on Thursday, June 23.
The aircraft landed half a mile north west of the Guise of Touch on a private landing strip.
The plane had one pilot and passenger in it at the time and both have left the plane without injuries.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 8.25pm after a light aircraft made an emergency landing.
“There were no injuries as result.”
