In the past 24 hours there has been six new cases of coronavirus recorded in the north and north-east of Scotland.
The latest figures released from the Scottish Government shows an increase of five cases in Grampian and one in the Highlands.
The new cases takes the north-east’s total to 1,223, whilst the total in the Highlands sits at 335.
No changes have been recorded in Shetland, Orkney and the Western Isles as they remain on 54, seven and six respectively.
As of 2pm today, 80 people are being treated for the virus across the region with six people currently in intensive care.
In Scotland, a total of 14,969 have tested positive for Covid-19 with 2,245 dying from the disease.

Scotland’s route to recovery
Police Scotland Chief Constable Iain Livingstone said he knew of the “frustrations and the fatigue” of the public during lockdown, expressing his “thanks, respects and regard” to the people of Scotland for their co-operation with the service.
Mr Livingstone added that the police would be moving from encouraging and enforcing lockdown measures to putting more emphasis on advice and guidance to the public.
He added: “It’s absolutely vital to stress that the rules in Scotland have not changed.”
The Chief Constable said that officers would continue to be on the beat and would use fixed penalty notices as a “last resort”.
He added: “Stick with it, keep doing what you’re doing and we’ll have some weeks ahead to look forward to.”
