Could it be you? Lotto bosses search for Scots millionaire who failed to cash in

Lottery bosses have launched an appeal to find an oblivious newly-minted Scots millionaire who failed to cash in a winning ticket last month.

The £1million prize belongs to a lucky Scottish Lottery player who bought a ticket for the Millionaire Raffle on August, 27.

Bosses are urging punters to check over their tickets for the draw to make sure they have not cast it aside by mistake.

The ticket holder of code NAVY 2918 6121 has until February next year to claim their win.

Camelot believe the ticket was purchased in a store in Falkirk but are unsure where the lucky winner lives.

They have warned that they can only pay out on lost or damaged tickets if a valid claim is made before the deadline on Monday.

Camelot winners’ adviser Andy Carter told the Daily Record: “This was a special draw to celebrate Team GB’s success in Rio and to thank players for all the support they have given athletes by playing The National Lottery.

“We’re encouraging all players who bought a ticket for the Lotto Medal Draw in the Falkirk Council area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“However, if you think you may have been the lucky ticket-holder but for whatever reason haven’t got your ticket in your possession, I’d urge you to get in touch with us in writing before Monday, September 26.”
