Coastguard teams were kept busy yesterday rescuing injured and stranded people in the Highlands - including walkers marooned by flash floods.
Lochinver lifeboat was earlier today tasked to assist a fishing vessel suffering from “fuel problems”. The crew were sent to the vessel at 1.30am this morning and took the stricken Kingfisher fishing boat under tow, setting sail towards Kinlochbervie. Both the lifeboat and stricken vessel arrived in port around 8.10am today.
