Dons legend Neale Cooper is fighting for his life after a fall in Aberdeen.
The Gothenburg Great is in a critical condition after being found collapsed in the stairwell of flats in the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen at around 1.45am yesterday.
The 54-year-old was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where it is understood he is on a life support machine.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
The 54-year-old lifted the European Cup Winners Cup and European Super Cup with Aberdeen in 1983.
Fans across the country have come together in support of the retired footballer.
